• Greg Alessandra

  President/Portfolio Manager

  Prior to forming Alessandra Capital Management, LLC, Greg was a financial consultant with a major brokerage firm, and a trading manager for Cargill, Incorporated. Greg began his career with Cargill in 1987, trading in the precious metals, foreign exchange and financial instruments markets in the United States and in Europe. Greg has been involved with markets, trading and risk management for over 20 years, and has been an industry proponent of global electronic markets for since the early 1990's.

  Greg graduated with Honors from Stanford University with a degree in Economics. He resides in Rancho Palos Verdes with his wife, Cathy, and their three children.

• Albert Alessandra

  Founding Member

  Al Alessandra passed away on August 15th, 2009.

  He was first registered on December 2nd, 1966 and enjoyed a career full of success for both his clients and for his family.

  While Al is dearly missed by family and friends, his integrity and work ethic remain the guiding principles at Alessandra Capital Management, LLC.

• George Johnson

  Portfolio Manager

  George comes to Alessandra Capital Management, LLC with over 20 years experience in petroleum engineering and financial management. At Unocal and ARCO, he provided engineering support to maintain refinery and crude oil supertanker operations and specialized in economic analysis of major capital expenditures including acquisitions. He was awarded the Unocal President's award for developing a comprehensive strategic plan and economic analysis. At ARCO, he received the corporate Environmental Achievement award for minimizing hazardous waste. George is a co-holder of a U.S. patent for creating a process to convert oily hazardous waste into gasoline.

  George received his MBA from UCLA in 2003. He is also a graduate of the University of Washington with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Pulp and Paper technology. He resides in Palos Verdes Estates with his wife Maria, a cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente, and their four children.

• Leslie Fitzgerald

  Senior Client Relationship and Administrative Specialist

  Leslie has worked in the securities industry for over 19 years as a client relationship manager. This allows her to enhance our business in the areas of client service, special events and the day to day management of the office. In her spare time she is an avid Snoopy Collector, enjoys traveling, cooking, jewelry making and spending time with family and friends. She resides in Oak Park, CA.

• Kathleen Penberthy

  Client Relationship and Administrative Specialist

  Kathleen is a recent graduate from the University of Oregon where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. She is currently preparing to take the Series 7 Exam to become fully licensed in the Securities Industry and to further her knowledge of the financial industry. Outside of the office, Kathleen enojys playing soccer and is an assistant coach for the South High School Girls Soccer Program in Torrance, CA.
